WABA NAMES MIKE TYSON AND SUGAR-MAN LEONARD AS ITS WORLD CHAMPIONS EMERITUS

The world Africa Boxing Associations (WABA) has named two of the most prolific former champions of the world Mike Tyson as its Word Heavyweight Champion Emeritus and Sugar Ray Leonard as its World Welterweight Champions Emeritus.

According to the WABA Director of Human Resources and Administration (DHA) Ms. Irene Joseph the two prolific former world champion would be crowned on May 28th in Ohio, Illinois, during the four WABA World Supreme Championships respectively.

The WABA DHA named the WABA Commissioner to the USA Sterling McPherson as the source for the two highly respected boxing Kings to be crowned as they contributed a lot in the development of boxing during their reigns as champions.

Ms. Joseph said that Sugar-man Leonard came from the Olympics in 1976 to transcend the world with his mesmerized boxing world with his boxing style and larger than life statue. Sugar Ray Leonard was an epitome of boxing as his fights with hands of stone Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns and Marvin Haggler made him the world’s middle weight King of all time.

Sugar-man Leonard is the one who made the saying from the rags to riches true a she rose from humble Ghetto life to become one of the richest men in the world through boxing.

She added that “As for Mike Tyson, the livid Mike made boxing the most watched sport at his time when he annihilated big names in the industry/. Many of his victims wouldn’t last few rounds and the world watched in amazement as he knocked one boxer after another to make his name the greatest boxer of all time. Falling in the hands of Buster Douglas in Tokyo, Japan, Mike Tyson made boxing the most popular sport in his time.

Tyson’s chilling presence in front of his opponents was enough to scare them to submission as others fell, before his drove his lethal punches to their bodies. He made millions within a short time. Tyson’s continue to rule the world through his big name so WABA is proud to name him its World Heavyweight Champion Emeritus”.

WABA will name other celebrities in different sectors as its champions as it recognizes the true heroes and heroines in entertainment to contribute towards its growth. The world champions Emeritus would get prestigious WABA belts made by WABA South Asia Commissioner Nelson E. Nanggolan from Indonesia respectively.
