Walmart gets an early win with its Mean Girls Black Friday ad

The campaign has given Walmart a pretty obvious brand win
The retailer has earned more than 46k engagements to the 3.6k articles written about it since Nov 1st, easily surpassing Amazon in the second spot, even with Amazon having around a thousand more articles written about it.

Fans of the movie can find comfort in knowing that even more content is on its way, with a new commercial airing every Wednesday before Black Friday, and on TikTok Walmart is keeping the momentum going with more promotional videos
Rockstar Games makes a splash with trailer teaser
Rockstar Games — the creator of the iconic Grand Theft Auto series — took social media by storm this morning by celebrating its own 25th birthday. The brand thanked their fans for their support over the years, and announced that they would be releasing the first trailer for the new GTA game in a month’s time.
This saw huge levels of engagement on Instagram in particular, with more than a million likes on Rockstar’s post in just a few hours, while the Facebook version of the post is already up to a quarter million engagements as I type, and predicted to grow significantly in its own right.
The news had been speculated about by news publishers late last night, with almost 3,000 articles written about GTA in the course of the last 24 hours. Speculation about the announcement began around 10pm EST on Tuesday evening, and both media and public interest
