Delighted to share the 28th edition of Intraskope’s Spotlight Series’ featuring Christopher Flores, a transformation and communication consultant with over 17 years of experience. Based in Spain, Christopher has helped organizations change their status quo through effective consulting and coaching.   

Christopher advocates for understanding candidates and appreciating the ‘human’ aspects they bring to the role. He believes also in testing for talent.  

“Stop focusing on experience and test talent and discover who the person is. Ask them to do writing samples; comms plan for a specific project/topic; perform a retrospective”, he says.

Two big take aways for me - just because you have the experience does not mean you have the skills. And, CVs need to be replaced with questions/ scenarios. Happy to have listened to this interview.
