THE WEAPONIZATION OF OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM
On June 8, 2022 Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was recorded on video shouting, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price,” and he ended his rant with, “And you won’t know what hit you . . . “
Schumer’s comments were triggered by leaked wording of the highly-anticipated Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade, which was issued today, June 24,2022. (See my Article “ONE SMALL STEP FOR MANKIND” written about the Court’s ruling.)
It is clear that we now have a 2-tiered justice system under the Biden Administration. Enforcement is now meted out to political opponents, primarily those on the right, as they face the heavy hand of a justice system more like that found in the Kremlin. Our very system of justice, whose motto is “And Justice For All,” is beginning to resemble Putin’s Moscow, or Maduro’s Venezuela. Biden’s Justice Department, under the “leadership” of Merrick Garland has become a mockery. It has been weaponized to go after anyone who dares to question the Administration’s policies. Parents who disagree with children being indoctrinated in Critical Race Theory (CRT) and the sexualization of their little ones by the LGTBQ “Woke” community are being labeled “domestic terrorists.”
The Biden Administration has created a new “Ministry of Truth” which is nothing more than a dedicated “Truth Police” to shut down anyone who dares to defy Herr Biden. And this new Ministry of Truth has allied itself with Social Media to encourage them to take even greater measures to stamp out “disinformation.” Of course, they decide what qualifies as disinformation. They have determined they are the sole arbiters of truth, and we, the people, are too stupid to be able to decide what we should be allowed to read or hear.
The majority of those who rioted during the summer of 2020, in which America suffered 574 riots at the hands of those who burned and looted, with more than 2,000 police officers injured and over $1 billion dollars in property damages, have never been prosecuted. No one is even suggesting that Kamala Harris be investigated for encouraging donors to fund cash bail for the 2020 rioters, one of whom was bailed out through her efforts who went on to commit a murder after being released.
The officer who killed unarmed Ashli Babbitt, whose crime was apparently “punishable by death,” was guilty of trespassing by being inside the Capitol building on January 6. He was cleared of all charges. There has been no call for an investigation into the death of Mrs. Babbitt as her husband wonders why justice has now turned both deaf and blind.
Also, many of those inside the Capitol that day report that they had been let in by Capitol police.
The media labeled January 6 an “armed insurrection” yet none of them were found carrying weapons, and the media repeated the lie that 5 police officers were killed that day – another lie.
And yet an untold and largely unknown to the public number of those involved in the January 6 riots in the Capitol building remain in custody without the right to a fair hearing or a speedy trial, many have yet to meet with an attorney, and they have been held in jail now for a year and 7 months without bail. The rare few that have been permitted to see the conditions inside say they have not been permitted to shave, or to have their hair cut, most have been deprived of their medications, the women have not been provided sanitary napkins, the food has been described as scarce and awful, and if this were a prison open to the public it would be shut down immediately over the scandalous conditions. Remember, these are all American citizens.
Meanwhile, the Biden Administration has allowed some 3 million illegal aliens into our country this year, many of whom are being bused or flown to destinations of their choosing, put up in hotels, and given cell phones. Why? Why are they being treated as honored guests? Because the Biden Administration believes they will end up being grateful and vote Democrat. It’s as simple as that.
Yes, what happened on Jan. 6 was a riot, but at most they should be charged with trespassing and vandalism. Compared with what happened in the summer of 2020, with the burning, looting, damage to public property, the thousands of police officers injured, some of whom will never fully recover, January 6 would be described as a “minor disturbance” had it not happened inside the U.S. Capitol Building.
Finally, as to the January 6 Committee Hearings, this is nothing more than an attempt to keep Donald Trump from running for President again. Nothing more, and nothing less. It is a sham. Testimonies given from anyone who might present a different view of what happened that day have not been permitted. None of President Trump’s people were allowed, and the only Republicans on the committee were Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, both of whom despise Donald Trump. The committee simply refused to allow anyone to be heard that they knew would ask questions that might be at odds with their agenda.
In the matter of an “insurrection,” the January 6 Committee has failed to mention that on several occasions, including on January 4, two days before, President Donald Trump authorized the use of up to 20,000 national guard troops to guard the Capitol to prevent anything like this from happening, but his request was turned down by both Nancy Pelosi, and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, the only two people with the authority to give the go-ahead for the presence of the troops. And, the committee has failed to question either of the two women.
The question remains: How did Donald Trump “instigate an insurrection” when he authorized 20,000 national guard troops to prevent the possibility of a riot or an insurrection?
Some say that Christians shouldn't get involved in politics. I am a Christian man, an evangelist, and a citizen of the United States. My faith does not disqualify me from commenting when I see forces at work that are on a course to destroy this great nation. When evil people do evil things they need to be called out.
