👉🏽 Tanzania is distributing new, advanced cooking stoves throughout the country to promote clean energy use : In efforts to support the government's campaign in using clean energy, efforts are underway to distribute nationwide technologically- advanced and environmentally safe cooking stoves. The move the whole country embraces will likely save a million acres of forest from destruction. Read more here
👉🏽 Ivory Coast signed a deal with Kong Solaire to build a 50 MW solar power plant: The solar plant will operate under a public-private partnership (PPP) and is expected to generate over 97 GWh of electricity annually. It will benefit around 240,000 people connected to the national grid in the northern region. The electricity generated will supply residential and commercial customers through a transmission line and substation near the site. Read more here
👉🏽 BP joins consortium developing Egypt green hydrogen projects: Following in the footsteps of French oil and gas giant TotalEnergies, British Petrolium (BP) has now expressed an interest in developing Egypt's burgeoning green hydrogen industry. BP has just signed an agreement with the Emirati energy company Masdar and a number of Egyptian investors. Read more here

5moThis is awesome it helps much on natural resources by not requiring the use of wood or other biomass fuels to cook. Not producing dangerous emissions which pollute local environments and contribute to climate change.
