WEEK 9: Nearly done.

WEEK 9: Nearly done.

Good morning folks. Well.... our major #perennial potting session is nearly done. Still a few bits'n'bobs to arrive over the next couple of months, but, the majority of our #owngrown 2ltr are in and growing.

This is a positive milestone for us as now the focus shifts to #beddingplant & #patioplant potting. These begin to arrive in numbers over the next couple of weeks. We now need to ensure that we have enough space in sterilised greenhouses to pot them on.

New arrivals & looking good #plant highlights for this week include some lovely #Acacia dealbata plus our #camellias are all beginning to #flower nicley so too are the useful #evergreen #groundcover #Vinca minor "Ralph Shugert". We will post some pics of these later today. Our Tete a Tete dwarf #daffodils are looking fab too, so please do not miss out on our 10 for £10 offer which will only run whilst current stocks last.

We didn't have chance to update our #seed #potato list last week. This will be done today once we have assessed the stock levels. Without looking, we can already inform you that they have been selling very well along with summer flowering #bulbs. Once they have gone, there will be no more until Jan 2021.

A little tip for you to consider. Whilst, in the south, we have not had quite the same degree of rainfall experienced by the rest of the country, we have still had above average figures. DO NOT be complacent with regards to plants in containers. Alongside the rain we have had almost constant blustery wind. This can cause containerised plants to dry out almost as effectively as sunshine. Please check that potted plants by front doors, on #patios etc, are moist enough. We know this seems daft, but trust us, it is worth checking.

That is all for this update. Have a great week and...

Happy #Gardening #Everyone.
