WEIHENG ECACTUS's Participation in Thailand's ASEW 2024

From July 3 to 5, one of Southeast Asia's most influential energy events, the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW), was held as scheduled at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. WEIHENG ECACTUS showcased its TIANWU 100kW/233kWh outdoor all-in-one commercial and industrial(C&I) energy storage system(ESS) cabinet and the AGAVE-TH 5~13kW/10~30kWh Three Phase Hybrid AIO BESS at the exhibition. TIANWU-AIO-C&I all-in-one BESS 100kW/233kWh

The TIANWU-AIO 100kW/233kWh comes with liquid-cooled configurations to meet the needs of different customer sizes in Thailand. It maintains a battery cell temperature difference within ±1.5℃ and achieves a maximum conversion efficiency of 91%, which is especially suitable for C&I ESS in Thailand that require high conversion efficiency. Pre-installed with CATL battery modules, it enables the entire cabinet to be shipped overseas, providing a one-stop service for transportation, installation, and maintenance, thus ensuring a controlled timeline for project delivery and grid connection.

AGAVE-TH 513kW/1030kWh Three Phase Hybrid AIO BESS

The AGAVE-TH is suitable for residential and small C&I scenarios, when sharing battery modules with the MYRTILLO battery modules for flexible output capability, Its high adaptability makes the AGAVE-TH a new favorite in the C&I energy storage industry. Installation can be completed within 15 minutes, and the new wireless design highlights WEIHENG  ECACTUS 's attention to product detail and on-site installation considerations. With double photovoltaic over-provisioning and up to 110% three-phase unbalanced output, the AGAVE-TH's robust technical capabilities enable it to adapt to more complex installation conditions.

The Thai government released its Power Development Plan (PDP) in 2018, aiming to ensure the reliability, economic efficiency, and environmental friendliness of electricity to support the country's economic and social development. By 2037, renewable energy will account for 29.4% of total power generation, with solar photovoltaics and energy storage reaching 15.6GW and 2.9GW, respectively, accounting for 9.4% and 1.7% of total power generation. Currently, Thailand's energy storage system capacity is still in its early stages, mainly concentrated in the utility and commercial sectors, with an expected capacity of 1GW by 2024.

Electricity demand in Thailand is particularly strong in the central and eastern regions, especially in provinces such as Bangkok, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chonburi, and Chanthaburi. These regions have abundant solar resources, high electricity demand, supportive policies, and superior infrastructure.

Especially, WEIHENG ECACTUS's TIANWU-AIO has passed Thailand's MEA & PEA certification, making it the first C&I BESS product certified for grid connection in Thailand. WEIHENG ECACTUS have always closely followed local national policies and market demands in Thailand and Southeast Asia, actively deploying strategies to help Thailand achieve its renewable energy development goals as soon as possible.
