Welcome to the 3rd Edition...

As the year draws to a close, the juggle is truly real!

Between planning for business growth, managing endless school festivities and finding a moment for yourself, December can feel like a whirlwind.

This edition is all about staying organised, leaning on your support system and carving out a little “you” time to end the year on a high note.

You've got this! ✨

🎯 Business & Growth: Plan to Grow...

As the year winds down, it’s the perfect time to focus on growth. December offers a perfect opportunity to strategise, set intentions and pave the way for a strong January start (if clients haven't dropped last minute requests on your desk that is!).

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Reflect: Look back on your wins and lessons from this year. What worked? What didn’t?
  2. Set Goals: Identify key objectives for Q1. Be specific and realistic.
  3. Prepare: Organise tools, schedules and systems now, so you can hit the ground running in January.

What I’m doing:

  • Taking time to sit, think and plan with intention (no distraction time!).
  • Scheduling new business calls for Jan.
  • Lining up client meetings and workshops to keep the momentum rolling into 2025.

Planning now ensures that when January comes, you’re not just busy, you’re focused.

🏃 Juggling Business, Kids & Life: How to Manage ALL The School Festivities!

The festive season is here and along with the joy comes the whirlwind of school plays, concerts, fairs, breakfasts with Santa and end-of-year parties. It’s a lot to juggle when you’re also running a business and managing life!

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Get Organised: Pop dates into your diary, a calendar app, spreadsheet, Trello board or a cluttered wall planner. Create a dedicated “kids” calendar to track all their activities.
  2. Prioritise: Decide which events you want to attend and which you can skip or send someone else.
  3. Delegate: Remember, it’s not all on you! Loop in your “village” of support; partners, grandparents, aunts, uncles. Share the load so everyone gets to participate.

What I do…I'm trying not to miss anything, but it’s hard!

Dates are in the calendar, husband and grandparents are roped in and all (I hope) festive activities are covered! Share the mother load!

Remember, you’re not superhuman and it’s okay to let others pitch in 🎄

🧘 Wellbeing & ‘You’ Time: Book a Christmas Shopping Day!

Amid the chaos of work, kids and festive commitments, it’s easy to forget about yourself. But taking time for you is essential, not just for your wellbeing but to recharge so you can keep everything else moving.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Schedule It: Block out a day for Christmas shopping and you time. Treat it like any other important appointment, non-negotiable.
  2. Go Solo: You can whizz round, do a couple of bag drops to the car and tick everything you needed to get off your list.
  3. Treat Yourself!: What's the harm in a little Christmas gift for you! We work our socks off all year, so be you're own Secret Santa!

What I'm doing…I'm off to the Trafford Centre this week!

Admittedly it will be with my 2-year old daughter on our 'special day off' together, but I'm taking the pram (for her sleeps), I have my list and I'll be on a mission to get as much done in one day as possible...and I may wander into Selfridges for a sneak peak at something for moi!

Enjoy the chaos that December brings!

Stay motivated, stay sane and keep the coffee flowing ☕!
