The 9th GLA Global Logistics Conference - Register Now

The third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was held in Beijing from October 17th to 18th, 2023. Central Asia, located in the center of the Eurasian continent, is considered the first place where the Belt and Road Initiative was initiated, and is also one of the regions with the strongest interest and cooperation intentions in this initiative. On October 20, GLA Global Logistics Alliance (hereinafter referred to as GLA) took advantage of the "10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative" to jointly hold a China-Kyrgyzstan cooperation dinner exchange meeting with the China Eurasian Business Council and GLA members. We sincerely welcome Temir Sariev, former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and current President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Kyrgyzstan business inspection delegation.

Ms. Grace Sun, President of GLA Global Logistics Alliance, first affirmed the long-term friendly relations between China and Kyrgyzstan. "In the 31 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Kyrgyzstan relations have achieved a historical leap from good-neighborly friendship to strategic partnership. Good political relations have laid a solid foundation for promoting China-Kyrgyzstan economic, trade, and investment cooperation. In the future, with the joint efforts of both parties, China-Kyrgyzstan economic and trade cooperation will be stable and far-reaching, with promising prospects."

Mr. Temir Sariev, former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, also said that the “Belt and Road Initiative” has brought revolutionary changes to today's Eurasia. China and Kyrgyzstan have not only recreated the ancient Silk Road era's glorious history, and on this basis, the beautiful vision of jointly building a country has been completed, which has a profound impact on the economic and trade exchanges, logistics connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

In addition, during the dinner exchange, the Kyrgyzstan delegation has confirmed that it will attend the 9th GLA Global Logistics Conference to be held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center in China from November 16 to 18, 2023. GLA looks forward to the appearance of many high-quality Kyrgyz companies at the conference. The two sides have more in-depth exchanges and cooperation. The Kyrgyz delegation also sincerely invites GLA and corporate members from around the world to visit Kyrgyzstan for in-depth interviews and links, so as to jointly spread the Central Asian business civilization to the world.

Kyrgyzstan has always encouraged local companies to go overseas, find Chinese partners, and learn advanced concepts and technologies. It is a rare opportunity for this conference to have access to the world's leading business experience and learn from each other. Along the way, whether it is resource sharing or project cooperation, GLA has always paid attention to and respected the immediate needs of trade and logistics companies in various countries. Massive data and global awareness can quickly help trade and logistics companies in various countries, match logistics resources and provide high-quality services. This China-Kyrgyzstan business dinner exchange meeting received support and appreciation from many corporate members present and was a complete success.

In the future, the Belt and Road Initiative still contains infinite possibilities, which are worthy of GLA’s joint exploration. As one of Kyrgyzstan’s largest trading partners, China and Kyrgyzstan have implemented major logistics projects within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Including the new North-South Highway, Bishkek road repair, and China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway planning. As a Chinese enterprise that has had good cooperation experience with Kyrgyzstan, I believe that under the background of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan will surely achieve bilateral progress and lead each other along this Eurasian continent and logistics road.

Currently, it has more than 5,000 professional and new international logistics enterprise members from more than 170 countries around the world. We believe that only through collaboration can we achieve win-win cooperation, with development as the key factor.

The Kyrgyz delegation highly appreciated this business dinner exchange meeting and looked forward to the grand opening of the 9th GLA Global Logistics Enterprise Conference. As a platform dedicated to promoting global logistics and trade cooperation and exchanges, GLA fully explains the new opportunities brought by the “One Belt, One Road” initiative to Chinese and Kyrgyzstan enterprises. In the future, we hope that Chinese and Kyrgyzstan enterprises will jointly explore the international trade market and push the bilateral economy to a new level.

In May 2023, the China-Central Asia Summit was held for the first time under the Chang'an Tower. President Xi Jinping and the five heads of state of Central Asia jointly planted six pomegranate trees, which not only witnessed the millennium of friendly exchanges, but also symbolized the close unity of China and Central Asia. Cooperation also places expectations on the bright future of China-Central Asia relations.  Ten years of staying together through thick and thin and traveling hundreds of miles, the story of friendship and good neighborliness between China and Kyrgyzstan is still being written.

Let us work together to move our bilateral relations to a new height.
