First though, we’re delighted to announce our Customer Success Team is growing. So, head down to meet Alice Szuszkewicz in our Team Spotlight, who joins us with a wealth of experience from the sustainability sector and is already busy helping our clients.
We also recently had the honour of sponsoring the IWFM North Charity Ball, as their Sustainability Partner. Not only was it a fantastic evening with the very best in FM, fundraising for Hull 4 Heroes and Mind, but we’re working with them to establish a baseline carbon footprint for the whole event, which will help guide future reduction strategies.
Looking at sustainability on a global level now, it’s brilliant to see The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) have announced new measures to standardise reporting in a move towards greater consistency and clarity. Meaning clearer guidelines and more credible benchmarking for those on their journey, fully aligned with our mission here at NCZ to provide transparent, accurate and actionable insights into carbon emissions.

Q. What’s your claim to fame?
A. I can’t say that I have a claim to fame or that I really would want to be famous for anything.
Q. If you had the opportunity to know the future, would you want to know?
A. No, I like to not know what’s coming! Surprises, even bad ones are always exciting and are needed to keep life interesting.
Q. What’s your go-to karaoke song?
A. Usually when karaoke starts, I take that as my cue to leave…
Q. What’s your favourite childhood memory?
A. So many good ones! All my favourite memories involve family being about and doing something simple like listening to music with my Mum, going for dog walks on the North York moors with my Dad, or visiting Grandparents. Or one of my siblings doing something stupid (and as the youngest it was always a good lesson in what not to do).
Q. Tea or coffee?
A. I make a good cup of tea and coffee, but for me it’s cold drinks or a hot chocolate in winter.
