We're hiring Talent Partners, for us!

Who are we? 

Hey there, we're Samuels Donegan, and we're a recruitment agency - but not as you know it and we’re looking for dedicated, dependable, positive people who share our passion and desire to change lives every single day. We specialise in recruiting HR professionals from executive to entry-level across all industry sectors. We work with the big, medium and small, whether private, public or not, for profit. 

In 2019 we set out to create an agency with passion where ethical recruitment is mandatory, and humour and innovation are injected into every day. Fast forward 3 years, and that's precisely what we've achieved. Some might consider us the new kids on the block (in fact, we just celebrated our 3rd birthday), but we have a pretty stellar pedigree behind us and big plans for the future. 

We're so grateful for the success we've had, and we know we're on the cusp of great things, but we have a problem, albeit a nice one to have. Right now, with record hiring levels across the board, we have more work than we know what to do with. The demand is there; we need skilled recruiters to deliver. That’s where you come in.

Why are we successful? 

We're honest, highly knowledgeable and genuinely care about people. We're not a sales-driven recruitment business; we're a relationship-based firm. We're extremely proud that most of the work is on a referral basis, and we're proud to say we've never made a single cold call between us. Being a small firm, we can operate at lightning pace and are constantly looking at how to be more innovative in our ways of working.  

We have a true passion for our work, and we're fortunate to work with great clients who respect and value our insights. We love what we do, and we want everyone that works with us to feel the same way, happy, healthy, motivated and proud of where they work.  

Enough about us, more about you

You love recruiting but just not where you are, or maybe you've heard good things about us. You're ambitious (that's OK, we are too). You're highly organised, able to multitask, and at the same time have a laugh - the job can be a lot of fun but also stressful at times. You're curious and want to understand what makes people and organisations tick. You're emotionally intelligent, down to earth and enjoy working in a team setting. Most importantly, you care about the people behind the process. 

We have big plans for interstate and global expansion, and we need a stellar team around us to achieve that. We firmly believe that our people are the most critical part of our business. If you're not successful, neither are we, simple as that.

What does the role look like day to day?

As a Talent Partner, your role will work alongside a friendly and collaborative team to help deliver the best experience to clients and job seekers you can. Lucky for you, you'll be working with some of the best in the business who have extensive people leadership experience. You will be managing a dual desk, so your ability to multitask is crucial. You'll consult with organisations across every industry sector, from start-ups to ASX listed orgs, by hooking them up with the best talent in the market. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with job seekers and helping them navigate their careers.

Typically, your work week will mean 2-3 days in the city to collaborate with the team members and the rest at home (we have a beautiful working space in the city, but we also like WFH alongside our pups). We're not into excessive layers of leadership, nor are we big fans of bureaucracy, so we have one meeting a week, and then we just get on with it. You will have access to the best technology available, including a full Recruiter license, amongst other cool tools.

You will be onboarded with mentoring from leaders who will take an active role in your career and prioritise your development. You will also receive external coaching from industry experts. We offer our employees a generous salary and an uncapped commission scheme. You are in control of your earnings; this isn't a 9 - 5 job, but we can guarantee what you put in, you will get out. Having said that, if you would sell your own grandma to make a deal, then we're probably not the agency for you.
