The US Department of Defense has awarded The EVERY Company $2 million USD to explore establishing a precision fermentation facility in the US. The funding will support a feasibility study for manufacturing OvoBoost, a protein used for boosting protein content, and OvoPro, an egg replacement for food and beverages. The Every Company, co-founded by Isha Datar , plans to expand production and aims to enter the mass market next year with FDA-cleared, sustainable, animal-free proteins.
