Church mergers are happening left and right. Did you know that church planters are finding welcome homes in merger churches? That 40% of multisite campuses come through a merger? That healthy mergers are working in many other ways, such as pastoral succession strategies and denominational revitalization/replant strategies? I'm convinced that God is up to something, and I'd love to hear your take on it.
Have you experienced a church merger first-hand? If your answer is yes, then Jim Tomberlin and I want to learn from you – whether you’re a pastor, board member, denominational leader, or anyone else who knows the pros and cons of a Protestant church merger.
As our thanks for participating in our 25-question survey, we will:
· Email you a summary of what we learn -- the key survey findings
· Invite you to a live webinar on Sept 24 to verbally recap the findings-to-date and also to discuss your merger questions
· Send you several great free resources listed on the survey’s opening page
· Enter you in a drawing to receive one of 100 copies of ECFA’s new book Lessons from the Nonprofit Boardroom
· Use what you (anonymously) tell us to help other churches avoid pitfalls and leverage good ideas
Please GO TO THIS SURVEY LINK, and talk to us! Tell us about your experience.
Again, many thanks for investing your insights and experience in helping others!
