What does being rich mean to you?

What does being rich mean to you?

What does being rich mean to you?

There is something beautiful about wealth and riches: they are subjective.

As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

So many of the business owners that I serve come to entrepreneurship in an effort to pursue financial freedom.

However, each of those words - Financial & Freedom - mean different things to different people.

As a holistic business coach, I am always helping business owners look at all the different angles in life - their relationships, experiences, spirituality, parenting, finances, mental health, wellness, physical health and so much more.

What is important to one person, may not be valuable to another.

What makes one person feel “rich” in life, may not hold any true value to someone else.

Also, you can have all the money in the world, but if your health fails that may become meaningless.

Or you may have some of the finest things in life, but if you have nobody to share them with that may create pain.

For me, I strive for rich experiences, a wealth of joy, happiness and peace, feelings of abundance and fulfillment in all that I do and all that I am.  I understand that they don’t take “being loving” at the bank - so earning money to support all that I choose to be, do and have in the world is a part of the process!

As a business owner, it’s important for you to slow down and really contemplate what wealth, riches, money and currency mean to you.  What are you striving for?  What is important to you?

Having a healthy relationship with money and wealth is a critically important part of entrepreneurship, however there is much more than meets the eye that deserves attention when you think about building your personal wealth.

That’s why I enthusiastically said “I’m in!” when I was invited to write a chapter for the “Cracking the Rich Code” with Jim Britt and 21 other thought leaders from around the world, including an endorsement from the one and only Tony Robbins.   Each of the authors came together to share their strategies, stories and insights for living a rich and fulfilling life in all the many ways that being “Rich” can be interpreted.

Recently, I hosted a live event where 15 of the authors came together from around the world to share some of their wisdom on the topic and introduce their chapter to celebrate the launch of the book.  Feel free to send me a message if you’d like the replay of the entire event.

For this month’s podcast, subscribe to listen in to some of what I had to say about my chapter and some of the insight I’ve had during the process of becoming an author.
