What Does Courage Look Like?
One of the most powerful quotes I ever heard was that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the will to do whatever is it you’re supposed to do despite the fears and very real obstacles.
You can only live one of two lives, one where you let your fears and pain play in your mind, or where you let the lessons from failure and mistakes play in your mind. It’s either you listen to your very real excuses or you listen to your very real purpose.
But understand that listening to excuses, as justified as you are, will rob you of time and opportunities, two things you can’t get back once lost. Listening to your passion and getting up to do it anyway almost always guarantees pain, but coupled with discipline it guarantees progress.
