What Matters Most
I try not to be too serious or existential (like ever), but I had an experience recently that reminded me of an important truth.
I don't know what you believe, but I believe that death is not the end of our existence. Actually, "Believe" is too soft a word. I know that we exist after this life. Our personality, experiences, and knowledge go with us into the next life. I could tell you more, but not in a post. (If you want to know more, ask me, I would be happy to share.)
What I would like us all to remember, at this time of year and always, is that Relationships are Eternal. You will associate with others in the next life. The relationships you build in this life are the most important thing you take with you.
So be a little kinder. Be a little more patient with others. Smile more, talk less. Differences in opinion are fleeting. Opinions change. People, and Relationships are Forever!
Be Thankful for those in your life. I am. Thank you for connecting with me. I value our relationship.
