😨😨😨What Really Is Your Greatest Regret?

😨😨😨What Really Is Your Greatest Regret?

Listen To Article Here

Dear Friend,

People are most motivated to make positive changes in their lives when faced with a reality that’s different than what they want.

Case in point…

12 years ago I got one of those dreaded phone calls that changes the course of your life.

My 90-year-old grandpa had been struggling with congestive heart failure.

The phone call had been from my mother. She told me my grandpa was close to passing.

If I wanted to say goodbye I needed to come to the Beehive Home where he was staying as soon as possible.

After I got off the phone I hesitated…

My grandpa had been my best friend growing up and I wasn’t sure if I was ready to say goodbye.

To make matters worse I had my ex-wife who I was married to at the time telling me, “you don’t want to drive all the way up there tonight do you? He will still be there in the morning I’m sure.”

Based on what I was feeling and hearing I made the worst decision of my life. I went to bed.

I called my mom the next morning only to find out my grandpa had passed on earlier that morning.

Which was heartbreaking…

Not only because he passed but also because I wasn’t there when he needed me the most…

And I never said goodbye…

This Is Something I Will Regret As Long As I Live

This regret fueled me to make a positive change 2 years later…

When my grandma was getting ready to pass on…

During the last 2 years, I had spent all my free time with my grandma…

I was there when she passed on. I’m glad I was because I would have missed something extremely special.

My grandma had a special connection with my son Wyatt who was 3 at the time.

She hadn’t moved, said anything, or opened her eyes for a couple of hours. She was still alive but just barely…

Then Wyatt showed up…

He grabbed her hand and said, “goodbye grandma. I love you.”

Her eyes fluttered open one last time and she said, “I love you too Wyatt.”

And then she was gone.

In my 3 years as an Email Marketer, I’ve noticed one of the biggest reasons that people take action is because of regret.

Why?

Because most people start to think of things they wish they did but “never got around to.”

Some people regret never pursuing their dreams of becoming a pro athlete.

Some people regret not spending enough time with someone who has passed away.

And some people regret spending too much time working and missing out on seeing their children grow up or simply just having fun.

The sad truth is that if you don’t take action on your goals NOW, the regret will NOT go away.

Which really should make you think…

If you don’t get started today… When will you?

Most people say “tomorrow” but never actually get started.

So make a commitment to get started today. Life is too short to live with regret.

Whatever you have to do NOW is a small price to pay to NOT have to live with regret.

Here’s The Real Deal

I’ve helped over 100 different people create stability in their lives simply by managing their email lists.

Most of these people were spending way too much time on their email marketing because it wasn’t automated or because they couldn’t get out of the promo tab.

They were losing money

Missing out on vacations

And the valuable family time that you can’t get back…

Because they felt like they were FORCED to figure things out on their own…

Regretting every second of it.

Then they hired me to manage their email lists…

Together we automated their email marketing, got them out of the promo tab into the inbox, and made them a lot more money…

Now they make more and work a lot less…

And they have time to focus on things that really matter like spending time with a loved one or being there as their kids grow.

Now that’s life-changing.

And that’s a legacy I want to leave behind.

It makes me happy.

Are you?

If you are not happy, and you want more time in your life to focus on what really matters…

And you want to make more money by actually working less…

Well, I better go. The Green Goats just informed me that they regret never getting up on the roof to see the views.

I can hear them rummaging around in the garage looking for a ladder. I better stop them before one of them gets hurt.

I look forward to creating more time and money for you by managing your email list.

All the best,

I regret that I never understood my dad well while he was alive. I also never realised his greatness and whatever he did for me. So after he passed away all of sudden, which I never expected, I started doing things that would make him happy. Also, I spend more time with my mom coz I realise I shouldn't miss the opportunity to make her happy in every way I can. So yeah, regret is a great driving force for people to take action. Wonderful article, Bobbie. Thanks for sharing your story!

Love your articles, Bobbie Lee! Regret is truly a driving force in many of our lives. So instead of looking back to our regrets, we all need to take one step forward, looking ahead to our goals. One step follows another and before you know it you're on your way. Fear of failure is what stops most of us, but just imagine if Albert Einstein or Henry Ford or Steve Jobs hadn't taken their first steps forward, Where would we all be?
