What is the six M's method?

As a life and business coach this is one of the methodologies that I use to help my clients move from where they are in their life at the moment, to where they want to be, from their present state to their desired state.

The six M's like any methodology is a structured framework that if followed and implemented, can help you change your life for the better.

Considering it is estimated that 92% of people never achieve their dreams and goals that they set themselves, having a framework that you can work through, though it does not guarantee success, can certainly help making the success a reality. If you're willing to put the work in that is needed that is.

The first M is mindset, followed by motivation, modification, momentum, maturity and maintenance.

Mindset

It does not matter who you are, if you want to make changes in your life, you need to shift your mindset.

It is only by working on your mindset to allow you to combat those limiting beliefs that you never knew you had, creating a positive can-do attitude, are you able to take control.

Motivation

Even the most motivated people in the world need some external motivation at some point, and this can come in many forms, be it having someone to be able to give you a pep talk or someone to run ideas by, to someone who will hold you accountable for the tasks that you've said you will do, it all helps, modification, this is where you make changes in your life to be able to live the life you desire and deserve.

These changes will help you improve your life for the better as you slowly form habits and routines that you never thought were possible, allowing you to start to live a limitless life.

Momentum

Like everything that changes and moves, it is always hardest to get things going first. The strong man pulling the lorry or the rocket being propelled into space, it is starting to get those things moving that takes the most energy.

However, once things start to move, you find that momentum takes over and things become easier to keep going.

Maturity

As you make the modifications in your life, and then start to gain momentum, you will see a maturity in everything you do, as you start to grow in confidence and competence, being more aware of what is going on around you and having the ability to respond and behave in accordance with the circumstances that you find yourself in.

Maintenance

This is where you've matured and grown through the process. Though you have the momentum with the modifications you've made, effort is still needed, but not as much as when you first started, as these modifications have become part of your lifestyle, habits and routines.

Each section of the process can be applied to any part of your life that you want to improve.

Following through the framework, it allows you continual progress, moving your life to the one that you desire and deserve.

I hope you found this insightful and informative.
