What Are You Still Carrying From Last Year?
As we step into a new month of this new year, it's essential to pause and reflect on what we're still carrying from last year.
Whether that's unfulfilling goals, disappointments, or unrealistic expectations, discovering what is weighing you down, is the first step towards growth and understanding.
Once you’ve made your discovery, you have a few choices. You can:
💚 Do Nothing (which IS a choice 😉): Maybe you’re in a season of “inaction”, or maybe you just need space to breathe. Whatever the reason, if what you’re still carrying doesn’t immediately need to change, be released or embraced, the choice to “do nothing” is clear.
💚 Release It: If what you're still carrying is negatively impacting your mental, emotional, physical or spiritual health, it is time to let it go. If you need additional help with this, please seek the support of your therapist, coach or wise council members.
💚 Change It: Choosing to change your mindset around what you're still carrying, is one of the most powerful and liberating choices you can make. That said, I think its also the most challenging, so I highly suggest seeking the support of your therapist, coach or wise council members on this one.
💚 Embrace It: Choosing to embrace something that you aren’t ready to change or release, can bring its own sense of peace. Embrace it for what it is and just let it be.
