What's on in Q2...

October // Issue 6

Christmas is only 72 sleeps!

Sorry, we just blurted that out! But hey, that's the reality; Christmas really isn't too far away. Eeek!

Last week was a biggie for us. Lee and Nick ventured to Brisbane, meeting with some incredible architecture and engineering clients to gear up for an exciting 2025. And what a trip, hey, Brissie?

After a whirlwind couple of days filled with back-to-back meetings, a round of golf at Royal Queensland Golf Club (nice work, Nick!), and an awesome networking event at Felon’s Brewery, they’ve successfully strengthened existing relationships and forged a few new ones.

A big thanks to everyone who joined for the meetings, chats, and a few drinks on Tuesday night. It’s safe to say the Vivid Recruitment presence in Queensland is as strong as ever – and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

Already looking forward to the next catch-up, Brisbane!

Last week, we also celebrated World Architecture Day, with this year’s theme focusing on "Empowering the Next Generation in Participatory Urban Design." The future of our cities is being shaped by emerging architects and urban designers, and it’s a pretty exciting prospect!

It got us thinking about its origins and what it truly means, so we thought we would explore it a little more. In our latest blog post, we looked at the history of this day, why it’s important, and how past themes have influenced the architecture industry. Whether you're a design enthusiast or an industry professional, it’s worth a read!

Check out the full blog on our website and see how this year's celebration highlighted the importance of creating inclusive, sustainable cities. Read more > Celebrating World Architecture Day 2024.
