Where are the Global Banks?
One of the main discussion in our recent Roundtables (May 2015) was to understand the consequences for us when banks are withdrawing from markets and products. This has been a trend already since the crisis pushed by the new financial regulation. The withdrawal of Royal Bank of Scotland back to the British Isles was the tipping point when we realized this trend will continue and we need to get strategies to cope.

9yYou make good points about the consequences of drying up of Global Banks. To your recommendations may I add a fourth: “Consider setting up an In-House Bank, if you have the scale”, and that way you may save costs and need relationships only with fewer banks.
