Which Comes First: High-Ticket or Low-Ticket?

There is a common misconception among coaches that their first offer should be priced lower than market prices because they are just starting out.

That is a guarantee that that coach will struggle.

No matter what the economic conditions, creating a high ticket or premium offer first and focusing your first year on filling that guarantees that:

  • you will have cash to invest in virtual assistants, advertising and other services that will grow your business more quickly
  • you will attract the highest quality clients first
  • you will build a leads list of people who may not be ready yet, but can be nurtured to become ready for the premium program or something lower ticket that you offer next
  • you will have peace instead of struggle in your first and future years of business

The very first step in creating a premium offer is having a deep level of confidence within yourself that what you offer is worth that amount of money. If you have never earn $10,000 or more in a month, it may be hard to see why someone would pay you that much for a premium service - whether that is an hour or a year in length.

However, when it is a match to solving the problem that they are currently dealing with, they will invest if there is any way that they can.

Then, once you are consistently enrolling people into the premium program, you can create a lower ticket program that sweeps up the leads who were not quite qualified - and prepares them, through the lower ticket program, for what your premium program.

Your launches or conversion events can alternate between them.

You will see this strategy being used by many thought leaders right now in the market.
