Who are we waiting for now?

Who are we waiting for now?

The single female swan returned to the lake over the weekend.

Apparently, the ducks were delighted. They gently gravitated towards her with what appeared to be a collective sigh of relief.

And it made me wonder: who am I waiting for?

Someone else?

   Me?

      God?

         Me and…?

As I dig down through the layers, I realise that, as in nature, it is rarely singular.

Just ask the swan.

Pause. See differently. Re-story…

Returning, after a bumpy road, your words as always resonated deeply, and I was left wondering. 💭

Smiling at you and the swan, Sue. This is a powerful question. In my particular case, I believe that waiting time is over.
