Who’s Talking to Gen Z: The Apps Leading the Race
In the week that tweener favorite app Musical.ly sold for $1 billion, it’s a good time to take stock of what social-media platforms are capturing the attention of Generation Z, whose oldest members are just now getting old enough to legally drink.
We’ve been talking about Millennials for more than a decade now, and accommodating their impact on our lives in many areas. But Gen Z’s digital natives bring a different sensibility and set of expectations. It’s already making a big impact on e-commerce, pop culture, technology, media and so much else.
So who’s going to win this race? Facebook is doing everything it can to remain relevant to younger people, including its acquisition of “positivity” app tbh.
