Sweden’s energy stability strengthens with battery storage facility

Axpo recently opened their first large-scale battery storage facility, adding to the latest in a line of energy transition projects across Europe. They’re now planning to increase their storage activities to help meet Sweden's growing energy demands.

To help combat India’s rising pollution in rivers and oceans, Clearbot will be deploying a fleet of solar-powered boats. These self-driving vehicles can collect around 500kg of plastic waste and other debris, making it easier than ever to save our seas.

Two-year construction project commences on US-127

A construction project will begin in March 2024 on US-127 with the aim to build an additional lane in each direction between I-496 and I-96 – as well as improve signs and drainage. It’s expected to end in 2025, followed by a project to rebuild the stretch from I-496 to I-69.

OhmShiv Construction recently won a contract for the next stage of the Webb Bridge Road improvement project in Georgia. It’s anticipated to enhance the 1.6-mile stretch of Webb Bridge Road as part of a five-stage project.

Continuing to fundraise for the MIK Foundation 

Last month, we raised money with pastries on National Croissant Day, a world food bake sale, a potluck dinner with a Chinese theme for Lunar New Year, and pancakes for Pancake Day.

And the fundraising continues this month! Our Global Business Development Manager, @Chris Morton-Collings, will be completing the Fred Whitton Cycle Challenge for the MIK Foundation. He’s aiming to raise £500 – donate to his JustGiving page to help reach the goal!

Events on the horizon in 2024 

We recently attended Genera, a solar-focused renewable energy event in Madrid – it was a fantastic success! Next, we’ll be attending WindEurope from 20-22 March, as well as the GridTech Forum, and Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference later this year (where we’ll also be exhibiting).
