Women in Gaza forced to give birth on hospital floors | Afrodescendent activist supports survivors of abuse in Perú | More

This week, at the overcrowded Al-Emirati Hospital in Rafah, pregnant women are giving birth on the floor amid a dire lack of supplies as the crisis in Gaza grows. In northern Perú, an Afrodescendent activist is working to identify survivors of gender-based violence and connect them with care and support. In Panama, a life-saving intercultural initiative at a maternal and infant hospital aims to lower barriers between indigenous patients and non-indigenous care providers.
