THE WONDER OF 2022 FOR BALICH WONDER STUDIO
2022 was a year of crucial importance for #BalichWonderStudio: not only we did close with a record turnover (over 315 million euros and with an EBITDA of around 14%), three times higher than in 2021, but also we drove the consolidation of many of our core strategies.
This success was achieved thanks to our almost 300 brilliant and courageous talents and by structuring units and departments, investing in both creativity and project management, opening and organizing offices in new countries, such as Saudi Arabia, and investing in improving ESG performance. The managerialization started in our companies in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia then allowed us to make concrete plans for new territories and extraordinary operations.
Once again, we generated wonder: among the delivered projects in 2022 there were the creation and production of the Olympic Ceremonies for the Flag Hand Over in Beijing 2022 closing Ceremonies and those bespoke for the #WorldCup in #Qatar2022. Important international luxury brands confirmed collaborations and partnerships with the Brand Experiences unit, while the Destination Experiences Unit realised the Whale Shark Icon suspended between the four Lusail Towers in Doha that became social media hotspot in the region.
For us, this future is based on creating new benchmarks in the entertainment industry that generate wonder and emotions.

Principles oriented towards ethical conduct, technological excellence, maintaining high levels of safety, environmental protection and energy efficiency; as well as the training, awareness and involvement of staff on issues of social responsibility. It is neither a simple nor immediate path and everyone needs to commit: we are stronger together.
