Are you choosing Progress or Excuses?

Do you feel stuck in one place? What’s stopping you—real challenges or the excuses you’ve made?

Life offers two paths: progress or excuses. Progress means taking small steps every day, even when it’s hard. Excuses, on the other hand, give us reasons to stay where we are. They may sound valid—“I’m too busy,” or “I’ll start tomorrow”—but they keep us from growing.

The truth is, progress doesn’t require perfection. It only asks for action. Each step forward, no matter how small, builds momentum. Excuses, however, feed fear and doubt, convincing us it’s okay to wait. But waiting rarely leads to change.

Ask yourself: What matters more—reasons or results? When you choose action over excuses, you take control of your goals and your life. Yes, it’s hard at first, but the satisfaction of moving forward is always worth it.

Actions to Choose Progress:

  1. Identify: Write down one excuse you’ve been using.
  2. Act: Replace that excuse with a small, doable action today.
  3. Commit: Repeat this daily, no matter how you feel.

Excuses stop you. Action moves you forward. The choice is yours—start today!
