You and Tarot: A relationship innate

You and Tarot: A relationship innate

What can a mere pack of 78 cards do? Well, a lot more than you can imagine!

Welcome to the divine world of Tarot, where each card in the deck is a story by itself. A story that you will resonate with, because it is about you.

The story however, is not a formula. It means that the cards do not mean the same thing for everyone. Thus, in Tarot, 2*2 is not supposed to be equal to 4 always.

Why?

Because it is about us. Are we all the same? No.

A lot of us may have some similar characteristics. Does it mean we are the same? No.

Each individual’s story is unique in this world. Our journey, our struggles, joys, achievements, people we have met, experiences we have gone through etc. makes us all very unique. The representation of this uniqueness comes about through a combination of tarot cards, when you ask a question.

Hence the same question asked by different people, can bring about very different answers, with the same set of cards. That’s magic you’d think. If you think Tarot is magic, then we are magic too.

Tarot cards are your mirror. You see yourself in the cards. The message that comes to you, the answers that come for you, are yours. Because it is your story. These stories brought alive by the cards can sometimes sum up in a word; sometimes it may just represent a punctuation mark! And then there are times when that one card says it all.

Every tarot card makes for a compelling narrative, delivering messages through symbolism and archetypes. And a narrative that will resonate to your very core.

Accuracy of Your Reading

Reading of your cards become highly accurate when we take into consideration the astrological, numerological and also elemental significance of each of the cards apart from just the meaning of the cards.

Tarot and Astrology:

A tarot reading becomes even more accurate when the reading is aligned to astrological insights. Every card has an astrological significance and planetary correspondence. It is much more than a mere translation of cards that represent one’s Zodiac sign. Each card’s astrological significance becomes an important message when it combines itself with other cards in the spread, thus giving a deeper insight into the reading.

Tarot and Numerology:

Each tarot card has a number. And highlighting the numerological significance of the spread enriches the reading multi-fold and brings it towards further accuracy.

Tarot and Elements:

Each tarot card also represents the elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.  The elemental interactions in a spread give an overarching perspective of the theme of the spread representing the answer to your question.

With the combination of the above, your Tarot reading can be empowering for you, to enable you to take the right steps and make the right decisions.

Limitations to Avoid in a Tarot reading

1-card Reading

Sometimes I’m asked to do a 1-card draw. My perspective here is that a single card-pull does not always give a complete answer to your question. In fact, there must be no limitations on the number of cards pulled.

Limiting cards may limit the transparency in the answers that you are seeking.

Of course, it depends on the situation and the context of your question. But generally, a good draw would be to have sufficient number of cards pulled to understand the situation completely.

Yes or No Reading

Tarot is not supposed to make your decisions for you. However, tarot can show you the depth of a situation so that you are able to make the right decision. Hence, the decision of Yes or No is in your hands and will come easily to you once you have gained an insight of your situation more than what you thought you knew.

Asking wrong questions

My experience with Tarot is that asking open-ended questions facilitate elaborate answers, giving one a wholesome picture of a situation without limiting it to a close-ended or one-word answers.

Using Tarot as a substitute for getting professional help

Tarot is not a substitute for therapy. Tarot is also not a substitute to getting professional help in the areas of medicine, or law for example.

Lying

If you really wish for help, you have got to be honest. It’s important thus, to choose a tarot reader who makes you comfortable, who helps you ask the right questions, who listens and supports you.

I want to add that deliberately lying will end up in confusing and complicated answers for you, that you won’t be able to decipher. Tarot is much more than what we think it is 😊

Incorporate tarot in your journey. See how it works for you. Whether it is to discover deeper aspects or underlying issues in a particular situation that concerns you, or if you are stuck in some areas of self-reflection or if you wish to explore alternatives and make well thought-out decisions, a tarot reading will help you navigate through your journey smoothly.
