Your Business and Dubai: The Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Good morning my Dears from sunny Dubai,
In today's newsletter, let us have a look at the Business Opportunities in Dubai for You. The recent published figures show a decent 3.3% GDP Growth in 2024, but what about the future? Fasten seat belts Habibis, this city is skyrocketing to the future.
Dubai is taking bold steps to redefine the future of global business with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this ambitious plan aims to
double Dubai’s economy to AED 32 trillion by 2033.
D33 is more than just growth - it’s about building an economy rooted in innovation, sustainability, and diversification, making Dubai the go-to hub for global trade, investment, and innovation (leaving Real Estate boom out of our scope for now).
🚀 A Vision That Works for You
Empowering SMEs to Lead Globally
SMEs form the backbone of Dubai’s economy, contributing 40% to GDP and accounting for 95% of all businesses. Under D33’s SME Scale-Up Program, 400 high-potential businesses will get the tools, mentorship, and funding they need to compete globally.
Have you tried to google the best selling book authors, world class coaches and mentors? Yes, they already moved here from all over the world, and I was lucky enough to meet some of them in recent weeks.
From Dubai Next, a platform connecting SMEs with investors, to initiatives supporting digital transformation, this program positions Dubai-based companies as global leaders in technology, healthcare, logistics, and more.
And yes, you are right, available funding, much needed mentors, and a vision to transform the economy creates what we are here for: A need for skilled Executive Interim Managers from all over the world.
Bridging Continents with Economic Corridors
Dubai’s Economic Corridors 2033 connects Africa, Asia, and Latin America, creating a seamless flow of goods, talent, and capital.
