The presidential contest is far from the only election that matters this year. The primary election on Aug. 20 will shape your state and local communities for years to come.

The Tampa Bay Times is here to help you make an informed choice at the polls. We asked more than 100 candidates running in over 30 races about some of the most prevalent issues facing Floridians to compile our 2024 voter guide.

No matter how you plan on voting, there are plenty of ways to bring our guide along.

The Rays stadium redevelopment project got approved. Now what?

The St. Petersburg City Council has approved plans for a new Rays ballpark downtown. It’s set to be surrounded by homes, hotels, offices, a concert venue and a museum.

The city plans to spend $429.5 million toward the stadium and infrastructure in the Historic Gas Plant District.
