We are proud to announce the implementation of 100% renewable #electricity at our key sites in Greenville, Ohio, and Blackman Township, Michigan, effective January 2025. This transition is expected to deliver significant CO2 savings, enhancing #sustainability for both our #operations and our #customers. At our Greenville site, we produce resins, E-Coats, and clearcoats, while the Blackman Township site specializes in surface treatment solutions for the Surface Treatment global business unit of BASF’s Coatings division, operating under the Chemetall brand. By leveraging renewable energy, we are not only minimizing our environmental impact but also supporting our customers in achieving their sustainability targets. We are celebrating the Year of Snake across BASF Coatings! 🐉🎇   This year, multiple sites are celebrating not only the Lunar New Year, but also the completion of several significant business milestones.   In Jiangmen, our colleagues are celebrating the successful completion of a major internal project, elevating our IT structure to a new level.   Meanwhile, BASF Coatings Shanghai is ringing in the festivities with the establishment of a new subsidiary, marked by a vibrant lion dance. This traditional performance symbolizes strength and good fortune, carrying our hopes for a prosperous year ahead.   Our BASF Chemetall colleagues in China and Singapore are also joining the celebrations with "lo hei," a traditional dish that represents prosperity and good luck. This dish is tossed together, symbolizing the mixing of good fortunes for the year ahead.   As we celebrate these accomplishments, we wish everyone health, happiness, and success in all your endeavors.
