Incredible work being undertaken at the site of our new state-of-the-art carbon neutral brewery in Littleconnell, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.    Teams and partners have been working hard on progressing this €200 million investment project, that will go on to brew lagers and ales including Rockshore, Harp, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny and Carlsberg.   Once complete, the brewery will be powered with 100% renewable energy and will become the second largest brewing operation in Ireland after St. James’s Gate - supporting the future growth of Diageo’s beer brands.     A huge team effort, all working together with the united aim of creating an innovative and exciting new era for brewing in Ireland. • What an incredible five days at the 46th annual Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, 2024! Cork came alive this October Bank Holiday weekend with electric performances by 500+ artists across more than 99 venues. The city and surrounding areas welcomed 100,000+ visitors and locals, who immersed themselves in all that Guinness Cork Jazz had to offer. Over its 46-year history, the festival has become one of Cork’s most impactful and anticipated annual events, boosting local business and uniting people through world-class music and soulful performances. There was a surprise special appearance by Grammy award-winning jazz artist Gregory Porter at the launch event on Thursday, which set the tone for the festival across headline shows, street performances, and the iconic Guinness Jazz Trails in pubs across Cork City, Douglas and Kinsale. We’re proud to drive this incredible festival in Cork, bringing together music legends each year for an unforgettable experience. We’re already counting down the days until Guinness Cork Jazz Festival 2025! #GuinnessCorkJazzFestival #GCJF24 #ItsJazzTime #GregoryPorter

It’s an exciting day here at St James’s Gate, as we announce a further €30 million investment into the production of Guinness 0.0! Today’s investment will allow us to double our production capacity for Guinness 0.0 and brew 176 million pints of our non-alc stout a year, for domestic and international markets - as consumer demand continues to grow for non-alcoholic options. Earlier this week, we were delighted to welcome An Tánaiste Micheál Martin and Senator Catherine Ardagh to St James's Gate. While here, our Director of Beer Operations Aidan Crowe, brought them through the process of brewing Guinness 0.0; how it's brewed the exact same way as Guinness, and then goes through an additional complex process to gently remove the alcohol, while protecting the quality and taste of the product, guaranteeing the same premium experience that people have come to expect from Guinness – just without the alcohol. We’re really excited about the future for Guinness 0.0 and through investments like today, we are happy to support the rising demand for premium, non-alc options and consumers’ move towards moderation. #GuinnessZero #Innovation #NonAlcoholic #Investment

Very proud to launch a global innovation for Diageo in Ireland this week, a new keg and dispense system for spirits. We believe this innovation has the potential to transform how our customers serve spirits, saving time and space in the bar as well as lowering carbon emissions by as much as 50% by creating a more circular economy. So how does it work? The bespoke innovative technology automatically refills a dispensing bottle of Smirnoff securely, once it is placed in the Everpour unit. Once the keg is empty, it is collected, cleaned and refilled by Diageo before being re-distributed to participating bars. Find out more about the trial and the potential benefits we are exploring in our press release: https://lnkd.in/e5wHG3b6 Drink responsibly. DRINKiQ.com

An Award Winning Sponsorship 🏆 Earlier this year Tanqueray 0.0% sponsored Dublin International Film Festival as premium partner with a common goal to elevate the cinema experience📽️. This was achieved through various touch points but a key element being the introduction of the ‘Tanqueray 0.0% film club’ - a curated series of indept interviews and Q&A’s with some of the industry’s most celebrated cinema talent. Last week, this partnership was recognised at the Irish Sponsorship awards winning best Entertainment and Event Sponsorship. 🎉 An amazing achievement for year one, and what an equally amazing team who helped make this such a success!👏🏾 Lorna Begley Samuel Javid Lauren Kavanagh PHD Diageo Ireland
