It’s important to provide culturally sensitive care so we can create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. That's why I’m honored to offer my coaching services in both English and Spanish. Did you know that Hispanic women are less likely to seek fertility care than non-Hispanic White women? And even after a fertility evaluation, Hispanic women are less likely to receive treatment for their infertility largely due to geographic, cultural, and societal factors. Did you know that Black women are twice as likely to experience infertility? Yet, the painful reality is that they are less likely to pursue treatment. Often held back by emotional or systemic hurdles, Black women are also up to six times more likely to struggle with finding a physician they feel comfortable with. Created by Morehouse School of Medicine with support from Ferring Pharmaceuticals, the FertilityEquity™ e-Learning modules educate healthcare professionals and fertility clinic staff about the importance of equitable, compassionate fertility care, particularly for Black women. Those who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Morehouse School of Medicine. On Veterans Day, we honor the men and women who dedicated their lives in service to our country.
