Today, on International Men’s Day, we’re highlighting an important yet often overlooked aspect of men’s health: fertility and family-building. Although often perceived as a women’s issue, infertility affects men and women alike, with male factors contributing to up to 50% of fertility challenges in heterosexual relationships. Unfortunately, stigma and lack of awareness often prevent men from seeking the support they need which can leave them feeling embarrassed or ashamed. This silence can delay treatment and create unnecessary struggles. It’s time to change the conversation. Let’s break the stigma surrounding male fertility by encouraging open conversations, educating men on their reproductive health and providing support to help them navigate their family-building journeys. Let’s make fertility a topic everyone can talk about. #InternationalMensDay #MensHealth #FertilityAwareness #FamilyBuilding #FertilityOutLoud #ProjectFamily

This week marks European Fertility Week, an important time to recognise the impact of infertility and the barriers many face in accessing fertility support. Globally, 1 in 6 people are affected by infertility. Despite these high numbers, there are still several challenges which exist when it comes to accessing care - from financial constraints to inadequate support and lack of information. This is the case in Europe, and around the world. For some communities these barriers can be heightened, highlighting the need for inclusive and equitable fertility care to reduce disparities. The newly launched European Coalition for Fertility aims to address these challenges and ensure equitable access, comprehensive sex education, and family planning support for all. Here at Ferring, we share this vision and believe in a future where no one is left behind on their path to parenthood. We remain committed as ever to helping build families of every shape and size. #EuropeanFertilityWeek #FertilityAwareness #CoalitionforFertility #FertilityMatters

We’re thrilled to see our Chief People Officer, Christelle Beneteau, sharing Ferring’s commitment to unlocking the potential of our people. At Ferring, we believe that focusing on peoples’ strengths empowers our teams, drives growth, and supports our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both our employees and patients.
I was honoured to speak at the Transforming Workplaces event held by Gallup, where I shared how we are unleashing the potential of our people for stronger business results. At Ferring, we strive to create a culture of empowerment and growth, where every team member can bring their authentic selves to work — a culture recognised by the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the third consecutive year. A few weeks ago, Ferring also became the first company in Europe to be selected for the prestigious Don Clifton Strengths-Based Culture Award (Jim Clifton). By focusing on what our people do best, we help them leverage their unique talents and integrate these into their daily work. This strengths-based approach is essential to fostering employee development and engagement, advancing our organisational goals, and ultimately supporting our purpose: helping people build families and live better lives. During the Gallup event, I also had the opportunity to learn from a great panel of presenters who shared how they are transforming their own workplace, through coaching, innovative performance management approach, improving safety and building culture readiness for AI.
