Delighted to share the latest update from the Confederation of Indian Industry National Committee on #FutureMobility and #BatteryStorage with great participation from industry leaders at the second meeting of the Committee on 29 April 2024. A productive exchange of ideas shaping the future of mobility in India. Here's a glimpse into the discussions: Updates from CII Working Groups #FleetElectrification, #GreenFreightMobility, and #AdvancedCellChemistryBatteries under the Committee were shared by three WG co-leads. Convergence Energy Services Limited provided insights on India's EV charging landscape, along with recommendations for wider EV adoption. Micelio showcased their unique efforts with ARAI #MicelioDiscoveryStudio for supporting #Emobility start-ups for testing and development. Key takeaways- 1. Discussed new financing solutions and needed policy changes to improve #EVadoption and charging station accessibility. 2. Deliberated on the latest issues in the manufacturing of Advanced Cell Chemistry batteries, including the need for standardised testing & collaboration with the Government to seize opportunities in lithium and other ACC battery technologies. 3. Highlighted the importance of monitoring developments in #greenhydrogen based mobility over the next two years and the need for regulations and incentives.
