I am thrilled to announce that my solo research paper, titled "A Novel Generic Autonomous Synchronization Method for Microgrids," has been published in IEEE Access, which has an Impact Factor of 3.4! https://lnkd.in/e9_CgkeD This paper presents a novel synchronization approach that effectively synchronizes islanded microgrids (IMs) with grid-connected microgrids (GCMs). It enables seamless reconnection of distributed generation (DG)-based converters or isolated microgrids after intentional disconnections and facilitates re-synchronization during abnormal conditions, such as short circuits. Key Contributions: Generic Synchronization Technique: Operates effectively across various scenarios without the need for a phase-locked loop (PLL). Robust Performance: Works under short-circuit conditions while maintaining system stability. Autonomous Functionality: Enables synchronization of both balanced and unbalanced utilities, allowing for autonomous disconnection and resynchronization of Microgrids.
