As an exciting new reboot of the LGBTQ+ Institute’s annual Business Forum, IGNYTE 2024 will be held at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights on October 4 in concert with an array of corporate, non-profit, small business, and university partners that seek to advance cross-generational learning. By pairing senior experts with young, emerging leaders from many of Atlanta’s colleges and universities, we will explore the many ways we can advance LGBTQ+ inclusion. All are welcome, and we look forward to a dynamic day as we learn and grow together at IGNYTE.

Today I invite my Atlanta folx, especially those near Lithonia, to Join me and the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance and Georgia Public Broadcasting for an evening of thoughtful viewing and conversation with a panel moderated by the Arabia Alliance Assistant Executive Director and historian Brigette Jones. Come early at 5:30 for a happy hour cash bar and snacks before settling in to watch Rustin. I’ll be on a panel after discussing the film with other activists. Hope to see you at Occasions on Main.
