  • 🔋 Kick off 2025 with a boost of inspiration from groundbreaking companies! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐛 returns, showcasing innovative collaborations from across Europe- and the stories behind it all. This time it's Adaptive PearlChain from Belgium! 💬 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹? The automotive industry thrives on collaboration and coordination among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to boost production efficiency and product quality. Such partnerships are essential to optimize the production and delivery of goods and services. That's why our collaboration model is focused on the industry actors coming together to set standards essential for increased efficiency. 🕰️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? The concept of the value chain was introduced by Michael Porter in his 1985 book "Competitive Advantage: Creating and Sustaining Superior Performance." The automotive sector's value chain model picked up pace in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Industry actors have since united to standardize their processes, motivated by the necessity to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the global market. 🎖 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀? This model allowed for highly efficient, personalized car production by coordinating the entire logistics chain for just-in-time and just-in-sequence delivery. As a result, companies could minimize stock in factories, reduce costs, and ensure faster delivery times—all of which helped maintain competitive pricing and boosted market share. This streamlined approach strengthened the business case for everyone involved in the value chain. 📈 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽? Scaling up this collaboration model means expanding partnerships within the value chain. By involving more players—especially key suppliers—companies can build a broader network that strengthens the entire process. A key tip for this model: start with strategically essential partners who bring the most value. It’s also important to allow each partner the flexibility to collaborate with others as needed. #Collaborationmodel #AutomotiveIndustry #ProductionOptimization #LIFEprogramme #CosmeReno

  • 𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻!❣️ On December 10-11, the Cosme Reno Consortium Meeting brought together our amazing group of partners from France, Italy, Lithuania, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Against the backdrop of Italy’s vibrant capital, we celebrated our successes, tackled challenges, and mapped out an exciting way forward for our LIFE-funded project. • 👥 Welcome to 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐛 – your series for discovering innovative partnerships driving change across Europe! In each edition, we highlight a company that is transforming collaboration, sharing insights into their history, current successes, and future potential of their unique cooperation models. Kicking off from France🇫🇷 this time is IndustriLAB - Hauts de France! 💬 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥? IndustriLAB is a platform born from the partnership between Région Hauts-de-France and Airbus Aircraft. We boost regional innovation by offering shared spaces for project leaders—whether start-ups or established companies—helping drive progress in aeronautics and beyond. 🤝 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫? On average there are 14-16 companies at our space, with 2-3 new companies joining us each year. Companies like Vestack and M.I.Concept have successfully launched their own sites after starting with us. Every company here either created their first prototype at IndustriLAB, or they've started their business in the platform's workshops. 😲 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬? The model was initially focused on new projects and R&D, but now also includes technology transfer, support, and training for industry. This has allowed us to anticipate human resource needs and support our ecosystem on both technical and human levels. During the COVID crisis, we played a crucial role in managing job protection plans for the aeronautics sector. By creating a taskforce, we were able to support individuals with temporary jobs by offering them opportunities outside the area where needs were identified. We're still going strong, meeting the demand for skilled workers in aeronautics and metalworking. 📈 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥? Political will and collaboration between private and public leaders are crucial in driving industrial growth. It's important to not only focus on research and technology transfer but also be willing to take risks and think outside the box when approaching projects. By fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, we can continue to drive progress and success in the industrial sector. Alors, à tous les participants : M E R C I ! Marie-Soriya Ao, Iqra AZIZ, Ghislain Bouillet, Thierry Dambrine, Sebastien Delpont, Estelle Derosne, Audrey Sarrazin, Floris , Coralie Neyrand, Thibault Perraillon, Dorize REMY, Salima SIMON, Henry Spack, Bernard Voisin, Séb FOURNIER, Raphaël Mouton, Jérôme Olive, Marion Humez, BLAU Architecture, Urbanisme, Démarches participatives et Economie Circulaire.   Nos partenaires ne sont pas en reste, merci à vous : EnergieSprong FR, Région Hauts-de-France, IndustriLAB - Hauts de France, LIFE Programme, LIFE Cosme Reno

However, before even beginning this search, we need to make sure that we also have good cooperation internally between all the partners 🤝 But how do you create this? By getting to know them better! To start things off, we went to the project coordinators themselves to introduce us to a day in their lives. Spoiler alert: you can have lots of experience in coordinating European projects, but you will still learn something new every day! 💡 Click the link below to read more about IWO and their honest story of being project coordinators! #LIFECosmeReno #LIFEprogramme #Adayintheliveof
