Coming in October!
Best-Selling Author of Unmasking AI: My Mission to Protect What is Human in a World of Machines available at unmasking.ai
Mark your calendars! On October 31st, my first book "UNMASKING AI: My Mission to Protect What is Human in a World of Machines" will be published. Three years in the making, UNMASKING AI is the most revealing work I have produced thus far. I take you behind the scenes to the moments of doubt, the defeats, and the ongoing work of challenging tech companies, governments, and AI researchers to create more ethical and accountable AI systems. I invite you to meet the mentors, the naysayers, and the people on the front lines for algorithmic justice who made my journey possible and remind us that the heart of computing is humanity. From coding in a white mask at MIT to advising insiders at the White House, I go from the streets of Brooklyn to the slopes of Davos, research labs of tech giants to the halls of congress, to show how the daughter of immigrants became a leading voice at the forefront of the AI evolution. Along the way I demystify AI concepts and tech terms while sharing poetry and stories that show a pathway towards an AI future that embraces our humanity not one that erases it. I hope when people hear the stories of triumph and see underdogs leading change, they will be inspired to see that harmful trajectories of AI can be changed if we share our stories, refuse to accept the status quo, and push for a world where technology serves all of us, not just the privileged few. I hope people walk away knowing if they have a face they have a place in the conversation about AI. We need you now more than ever.

We could not agree more!
You know a book is good when you can’t stop thinking about it long after you finish it. That was my experience with Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Boylan, a powerful story that spans identity, family, abuse, prejudice, love, and tragedy. This book wasn’t an easy read, but it was a deeply compelling one. If you read Mad Honey, what did you think?
