As advanced technologies continue to reshape the factory floor, understanding the importance of integrating cybersecurity with these technologies is no longer optional—it's imperative. This infographic delves into the differences in security priorities between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), and how to manage cybersecurity where they meet. Traditionally, the physical world of machinery and industrial equipment (OT) and the digital world encompassing servers, networking, and data processing (IT) operated in isolation, with limited interaction. Today this dynamic is quickly changing. With the convergence of OT/IT, manufacturers need to implement segmentation and cybersecurity measures to protect their company and their customers. 🌟 Learn more about how TMEP can help up your cybersecurity at https://lnkd.in/dAFCu35w Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) #manufacturing #cybersecurity #smartmanufacturing #MEPNN
