Meet Integrated Supply Chain LDP Alum Alexis! During her time in the LDP program, she was a logistics analyst at Bell in Fort Worth, Texas, a buyer at Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, Maryland, and a Material Planner at Kautex in San Antonio, Texas. After the program, she repatriated to Textron Systems as a buyer where she supported many projects as well as helping the company meet their budget and demand. She recently started a new position as a senior specialist of strategic logistics for Kautex Textron. In this position, she will help lead logistics planning for new programs and help eliminate costs for current programs. If she had to give a piece of advice to any current or incoming LDPs, it would be to keep an open mind. “There are going to be places that you may end up at that weren’t your top choice for location or job function, but just remember it’s not about where you go, but what you make out of it

Meet LDP Alum Calissa! Her first rotation was at Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS as an EHS Engineer. During this rotation, she supported West Operations, directly covering the Citation Sovereign, Latitude, and XLS assembly lines. She loved getting to work in the manufacturing environment and seeing the impact she could have on someone’s work experience and personal safety. Her second rotation was at Corporate in Providence, RI as an EHS Specialist. This was a much different role, where she supported Corporate initiatives, disability and risk management, sustainability, site remediation, and auditing. She had the opportunity to travel at least once a month to attend and perform audits at different Textron facilities and was able to grow her knowledge on regulations and Textron businesses. Following the program, her repat role was as an EHS Engineer at Textron Aviation and she has since moved into an EHS Group Lead role, covering all of Mid-Continent. Her biggest advice for other LDPs would be to take every opportunity given to you, attend all the events, grow your network, and get as much as you can out of each rotation
