Before that role, her construction career began as a journeyman piledriver/bridge carpenter throughout California. She holds a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with published work on the impact of authentic leadership on safety climate and is the Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environmental at Colas Inc. She is committed to advancing health and positive safety culture through leadership development across the USA.

Our year has been full of making new connections as we continue to Build Community with the women who make a difference in the asphalt industry! Last week, our visit with Blythe Development & Blythe Brothers Asphalt brought new faces to the South Carolina branch and new relationships we hope to continue growing in the coming year.

Due to it being the holidays and a very busy week, we have decided to postpone our Sip and Paint and Holiday Party until next Wednesday, December 11, 2024. #MentorshipMonday is the perfect opportunity to highlight that the 2025 #WomenofAsphalt Mentorship Program is now open for registration! Apply via this direct link: https://lnkd.in/ghN5N5pQ . Deadline to submit your application is December 1st, 2024. You may choose to participate in the program as a mentor or mentee. Each mentee will be matched with a mentor based on your requests and the board's experience in successful mentorships. You will be fully equipped with resources and training opportunities! This is a FREE program to all WofA members throughout the U.S. and Canada. Many of our South Carolina members have participated in the past and/or are presently participating in the mentorship program. This program has allowed many to make lifelong connections that have helped guide their careers. 

Volunteers are needed for our WofA booth at Southeastern Asphalt User/Producer Group Annual Meeting held at the Mobile Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel (64 S Water St, Mobile, AL 36602). WofA Booth volunteers must be registered to attend the SEAUPG conference to have access to the booth.
