Yvonne Ruf joined Roland Berger in 2008 and is now a Senior Partner in our Regulated & Infrastructure unit at the Düsseldorf Office. She co-leads Roland Berger's Sustainability and Climate Action client innovation team.

With 15 years of experience in consulting work for the public and private sector, Yvonne's business focus is on creating value through decarbonization and monetizing the business opportunities from increasing climate action. She supports clients across all industries in emission reduction, greening of supply chains, shifting business models and the portfolio as well as introducing new technologies. She is specialized in preparing, de-risking and managing large transformation and investment projects to bring them from the first idea to successful financing and implementation. She is also an expert in hydrogen and fuel cell applications.

Yvonne has successfully accompanied major public and private clients in strategy development, commercial validation, project structuring, financing, and stakeholder engagement for large infrastructure projects. Her clients comprise of industry clients, public and private investors, government institutions, international agencies, national and multi-national associations, and project developers. She has extensive work experience in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

She holds an MSc Degree in International Political Economy from London School of Economics. Before joining Roland Berger, she spent several years working on improving the business and investment climate in Southern Africa.
