Ready for the off?
You may have read in Bill C’s Here Now review that this kit comes with a complete engine. I decided not to build this for 2 reasons; the first was I couldn’t be bothered as I wanted to get to the painting and weathering stages as quickly as possible. The second is I didn’t want to do all the scratch building that would be required to make this area of the model look authentic. Don’t get me wrong; what is supplied isn’t bad it’s just the limitations of the injection process mean that from the box, the engine bay would look quite bare.
Right, on with the build…
Construction starts with the suspension units, these are a multi part affair but when put together look nicely detailed.
There are quite a few other details to be glued onto the hull, this leaves the area looking very busy which is exactly what we’re after, the more there is to look at the more the viewer will be drawn in.
