ABSTRACT: The change of the development ideology of the Communist Party of China is a historical evolution process: In the 1950s and 1960s, the concept of development of the Communist Party of China was expressed as the concept of economic growth aiming at the growth of industrial quantity, and in the 1970s and 1980s, it was further developed into the concept of economic development with quality and quantity, and in the 1990s, the strategy of sustainable development was implemented, and then from the scientific concept of development in the early 21st century, it was further systematized into the new development concept of the new era. From the perspective of the evolution of the development ideology of the Communist Party of China, the evolution of the development ideology of the Communist Party of China is a gradual and systematic development process, and the development ideology of the Communist Party of China has inherited and developed the development thought of Marxism. The new development concept proposed by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee has more abundant elements, more complete structure and clearer level, which is a further enrichment, improvement and systematization of the previous Party’s development concept, a new stage of the development of the Party’s development concept in the 21st century, and a new realm of the Marxist development concept.
