Maaye Song OUT: Sky Force's 1st Track Proves 'Combo of B Praak-Akshay Kumar Always Gives Goosebumps'

Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film of 2025 - Sky Force alongside Veer Pahariya. They are promoting the film in full swing, with the release of its first song, Maaye, creating waves across social media. The makers unveiled the song today (January 8) and the soulful patriotic track has already struck a deep chord with fans.

Taking to Instagram, makers Maddock Films dropped the song and captioned, "In honour of our martyrs, who put their country before everything else. Presenting #Maaye, The Anthem of Heroes, out now."

Maaye has been described as a powerful, soul-stirring anthem dedicated to the nation’s heroes who lay down their lives for the country. The song’s emotional impact is elevated by its music video, which shows powerful scenes with Akshay Kumar, debutant Veer, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur. Their performances bring tribute to the lives of national heroes. The song’s deep emotions and moving melody have received a lot of praise from fans on social media.

Fans have flooded the comments section with positive feedback. One fan called Tanishk Bagchi’s composition “brilliant” and labelled the song a "blockbuster." Many others compared it to Teri Mitti from Kesari, calling Maaye “Kesari vibes” because of its strong melody and emotional power. Meanwhile, coming back to Sky Force, the film has been directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur. The film is scheduled to release on January 24, 2025, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
