Watch: Lyric Video Of A Legend Reborn Track From Mohanlal's Barroz 3D Out!

The makers of actor Mohanlal's directorial debut Barroz 3D – Guardian of Treasures took to their social media to release a lyrical video of the song A Legend Reborn from the upcoming fantasy film recently. Composed, arranged and programmed by Lydian Nadhaswaram Fernando Boto de Jesus Guerreiro, the song features lyrics by Lakshmi Sreekumar and Fernando Boto de Jesus Guerreiro along with Helena Filipa da Rosa Candeias on vocals. Barroz hit the big screens on December 25, on Christmas, to mixed reviews.

About Barroz

Barroz is a period fantasy film based on Jijo Punnoose's novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure. The plot revolves around the character Barroz who has been safeguarding Vasco da Gama's hidden treasure for over four centuries. Alongside Mohanlal, the cast includes Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, Guru Somasundaram, and others. A few months ago, a behind-the-scenes video was released, featuring Mohanlal directing the film on set and showcasing the extensive production design and the world of Barroz. Shot in immersive 3D, the film features music composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram.

Speaking about his directorial debut, Mohanlal had earlier said, “When Barroz releases this Christmas, it will mark the completion of 1,558 days of work, starting from the second schedule on 23rd of December, 2021, through to shooting and post-production. It has definitely not been an easy journey, but we are proud to present a global 3D film like Barroz to Indian cinema, catering to all age groups.”

He added, “Indian cinema has always entertained us, and I felt a deep urge to give something back to an industry that has given me so much. This led to the epiphany of creating the 3D world of Barroz.
