Cyber Monday is officially over — but there are still some great deals to be had out there on a massive range of different AirPods models. I've spotted already that a couple of the best deals on AirPods from the sale have stuck around after the end of the sale.
The best deals is still on the AirPods Pro 2: They're not quite at their lowest price ever anymore, but they're still a great deal. In fact, they're still a much better buy than the AirPods 4, even though there's now a $5 slightly higher price. The AirPods Pro 2 are $169 at Amazon after the sale.
The AirPods Max are a slightly different story, with more disparate pricing. You can find some of the colors of AirPods Max at a similarly low price as you'll have seen over Cyber Monday, although other colors have now gone back up in price. The cheapest are the Pink — the Pink AirPods Max are currently $429 at Amazon.
I'll be keeping my eye on the AirPods deals as they continue, and I'll let you know how they get better (or worse) as the day rolls on. The AirPods 4 with ANC are still the deal to ignore, for example — just buy the AirPods Pro 2 for $5 more instead.

Which AirPods are best for me?
Working out which AirPods model you should buy comes down to more than just how much they cost. Of course, you'll want to check out the best AirPods to get the full low down on Apple's headphones and earbuds, but I'll go through the three main AirPods that you can buy right now.
AirPods 4
The AirPods 4 are the latest AirPods to join the fray, and they are for those looking to save some money. They are the core of the AirPods experience, with the magic connection, excellent interoperability with Apple devices and the clean, gloss-white aesthetic. They lack silicon ear tips for a more open fit, so if you don't like the way that most earbuds feel in your ear, you might like the less invasive feel of the AirPods 4. They have some premium features as well, such as Spatial Audio for Dolby Atmos when you go and listen to Apple Music. Sound is fine, with more bass than you'd expect and clear highs. Some might not like the emphasis on the top end. The biggest problem is the battery life — they'll only last you 5 hours on a charge. You do get 30 hours out of the charging case though. They cost $129, and recieved a 4 and a half in our AirPods 4 review.
AirPods 4 with ANC
These are mostly the same as the standard AirPods 4, although they come with some extra features. These are for those that don't want to spend the extra on the AirPods Pro 2, but also want the extra added bonus of active noise cancelling and other more premium features. In addition to all the other features of the AirPods 4, you also get the aforementioned ANC and a wireless charging case. I found the ANC to be surprisingly effective, especially considering how they fit. They have a $50 price premium over the AirPods 4.
AirPods Pro 2
These are the top-of-the-line earbuds that Apple builds, and they come with some great features for a price that's now not too unreasonable. This set of AirPods is for people who want the best wireless earbuds for Apple devices, thanks to their excellent interoperability between Apple devices. Unlike the AirPods 4, they have silicon ear tips for a better seal within the ear which improves the ANC. As a result, the ANC is amongst the very best. I've found it brilliant for blocking out the noise of busy office blocks, buses and train travel. The sound is good as well, with a neutral signature. Battery life is better than the AirPods 4, with 6 hours from the buds themselves. They cost $249, and they earned a 4 and a half stars in our AirPods Pro 2 review.
AirPods Max
There are currently two different versions of AirPods Max that you can buy, the USB-C version and the Lightning version. The only differences between the two models are the charging port and the color options.
The AirPods Max are Apple's over-ear headphones, and they look unlike anything else you'll see in the headphone space. These are the headphones for people who want the very best that Apple has to offer, with studio-quality sound, and the best Spatial Audio around. They have a very neutral sound signature, and they reveal bits of your music that you might never have heard before. They're plenty bassy too, with loads of low-end on offer. The Spatial Audio is what impresses me the most. I like to connect them to my Apple TV 4K, and watch my movies and TV shows in Dolby Atmos without disturbing the rest of the house. The case is unfortunately not great, and the battery life of 20 hours could be better, but they still managed to get a 4-star rating in our AirPods Max review. They cost $549.

That's it, everyone — it's been a good run. The AirPods Pro 2 are back up to full price, and the time to buy them is over. Sorry folks, they're more expensive again.
Time then to wait until the next deals event — hopefully we'll see a great price there instead. If you're looking for a pair of similar headphones at a similar price, then the excellent Sony WF-1000XM5 are still on offer, although you'll still pay more than the AirPods Pro 2 during the sale.

Be color careful with the AirPods Max
OK, so the situation with the AirPods Max is an interesting one. They are still reduced, and there are some options which remain at their Black Friday and Cyber Monday lowest prices ever. BUT! And it is a big but (quiet in the back) — there are only some colors which are still at the deal price.
Prices on the Pink option have fluctuated throughout the day, with the pick changing more than others. The Blue area currently the best way to go — they're still $399. Just be careful, and makes sure you click around before dropping the hammer on a new pair of AirPods Max — or err on the safe side and buy the Blue.

Cyber Monday might be over, but there are still loads of reasons to pick up a pair of AirPods. The AirPods Pro 2 are now slightly more than they where during the sale, although still very much worth their reduced price of $169. The AirPods 4 remain at the same price, which means "pick up the non ANC version, buy the AirPods Pro 2 instead of the ANC version".
The AirPods Max are back at a higher price too, and the Pink version are the way to go. They're now $429 at Amazon.

Get the AirPods Max at their lowest price yet at Best Buy, slashed by over $170. With Cyber Monday deals soon to be in the rear view mirror, this is the perfect deal to snag before the savings are long gone. This deal is only available for the Grey option, so if you want a bit more color you're going to have to cough up some more dough!

Don't sleep on these Airpods 2 alternatives...
Sony's WF-1000XM5 earbuds just crashed the Cyber Monday sale at Amazon, dropping to $223. That's a hefty $76 off what I consider the most impressive wireless earbuds that aren't Airpods, available right now.
These Sony earbuds are the best Apple Airpods 2 alternatives on the market right now. Our Audio Editor Tammy ranked them outperforming the AirPods Pro 2 in terms of noise cancelling capabilties, sound quality and battery life.
They're able to block out more noise and the transparent mode sounds more natural. With these earbuds the listening experience is much more engaging, and the 8 hours of battery life is an absolute game-changer.

Apple's premium headphones get major price cut
Apple's premium headphones rarely see discounts this deep, but Amazon just dropped the AirPods Max to $399 — that's $150 off and is one of their lowest prices ever.
Our review praised these premium headphones for delivering exceptional audio quality and noise cancellation. While they might seem expensive even with this discount, you're getting what you pay for. The aluminum construction feels substantial, the Active Noise Cancellation rivals the best in the business, and features like spatial audio add genuine value.
For anyone deep in the Apple ecosystem, this Cyber Monday price makes them particularly compelling.

Something to consider when looking at the Cyber Monday AirPods deals is which features are deal breakers for you.
Of course, price factors into it, but there's no sense buying a cheaper set unless they can do all the things you need them to. For instance, the AirPods 4 now come in two editions; with and without noise cancelation.
This used to be a feature limited just to the AirPods Pro, but now there's version on the cheaper non-Pro headphones. And, as you'd expect, it means the AirPods 4 with noise cancelation cost more.
Functionally, they're pretty similar (apart from noise cancelation) except the more expensive model comes with a wireless charging case with a built-in speaker for Apple's Find My notifications.
So, is noise cancelation isn't a big deal for you, save yourself some money and stick with the standard AirPods 4 instead.

Cheap AirPods Pro 2 alternatives
The AirPods Pro 2 are excellent — but what if you could get similar experience to them for much, much less? The AirFun Pro 4 are a great little pair of earbuds, and they're currently at a great price in the Cyber Monday sales.
There's a lot to like here — they've got top notch battery, great sound, and surprisingly effective ANC. All for under $100.

Low-cost AirPods
The cheapest model of AirPods are currently the cheapest they've ever been. There's a $10 discount on them, which might not seem like loads, but they've only been around since September. This is currently the cheapest way to get AirPods, unless you go for a pair of refurbished buds (which you shouldn't).
They sound good for the style of bud, and they feature Spatial Audio which sounds great with Apple Music.

More premium than AirPods Max?!
You might think that the AirPods Max are the pinnacle of headphones luxury — but nay, you would be mistaken! The BeoPlay HX are some of the most luxurious wireless headphones that money can buy, covered with leather and built out of metal. They are a beautiful thing, and they sound as good as they look.
They're also currently the same price as the AirPods Max — and for my money, I'd buy these.

Big Beats Buys
The AirPods cousins, the Beats Studio Pro, are now at their lowest price ever in the Cyber Monday sales. There's a $190 discount at the moment, which brings them down to just $159. That's right — they're better than half price!
For the price you get AirPods rivaling ANC, decent enough Spatial Audio, and reasonable sound quality. This is a great deal, and well worth picking up.

AirPods Pro 2 lowest price as Walmart
Amazon isn't the only place that you can buy the AirPods Pro 2 at their lowest price ever — if you head over to Walmart right now, you can find them at $154. The same excellent buds, the same great Cyber Monday price. What's not to love?

While the AirPods Max manage a reasonable job at blocking out noise, they're nothing compared to the ANC might of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones manage, however. They manage to block out more noise than any other pair of headphones I've ever used, almost becoming a pair of ear defenders without playing any music.
But you'll want to play music, and thankfully, when you do, they'll sound excellent. Battery life could be better though. This deal makes them a whole $100 cheaper than the AirPods Max, even at their lowest price.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones: was $429 now $299 @ Amazon
Samsung brought its own AirPods Pro 2 competitor to the stage, and they're currently at their lowest price ever this Cyber Monday. They're a pretty special pair of earbuds too, with some great extra AI features to set them apart from the rest.
They have a very 'AirPods' look to them as well, especially if you choose the white colorway. They've got solid sound and ANC as well — and Galaxy users will love their extra features that work with their phones.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: was $249 now $188 @ Amazon
One of the coolest parts about the AirPods Max is that you can watch your TV with them if you use an Apple TV box as your TV streamer. There is just one problem — it only works with the TV box, and not the rest of the devices attached to your TV. The Sonos Ace take this idea and make it even better — they connect to your Sonos soundbar, and then play everything that would come through that into your ears without disturbing your housemates.
They're also a very nice pair of wireless headphones with great sound and good ANC — and they're now cheaper than ever in the Cyber Monday sales.

The Beats Studio Buds are the perfect alternative to a pair of AirPods — and they do it for an incredible price. You get all the headline features, including ANC and magic connection, for less than half the price of their AirPod cousins.
I have a particular soft spot for the Beats Studio Buds because of the charging case. It's perfectly shaped to easily slip in and out of a pocket, and small enough that they can go into a back packs useful internal compartments.

There is one AirPods deal at the moment that's not worth your time — the ANC-equipped AirPods 4. They have a saving of $15, but that brings them down to a price that's not as low as the AirPods Pro 2 and their $150 saving.
The AirPods Pro 2 are a much better pair of headphones, and given that they're cheaper, it should be a no-brainer as to what buds you should pick up. The ANC is better, the fit more comfortable, and the sound quality is superior. Just go for the AirPods Pro 2 — you'll thank us later.

The AirPods Max have been another staple discount over the Cyber Monday sales, and it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. There's currently a $150 discount available on Apple's most premium cans, and they're still at their lowest price ever. Some of the colors have started to sell out though, so you'll want to make sure you're choosing some that are still discounted!
The AirPods Max case might not be the best, but the headphones sound brilliant, and look very nice on the head. Battery life could be better, but they're well worth their price — especially with this Cyber Monday deal.
