What would the holiday season be without a little FPS action? This holiday season the crown belongs to Unreal Tournament 2003.
So much has been written about UT 2003, it would be difficult to say anything that has not already been written. Of course, the holiday season is when a lot of folks are getting new systems and want a game to show off these new systems, with the "eye candy level" set at maximum. UT 2003 does not disappoint, and delivers an exceptional dose of eye candy. UT 2003 also has the ability to bring a system to its knees. The bottom line is that UT 2003 is a great looking FPS game. Some of the experts in the Unreal community continue to complain about the game play, but the bottom line is that balance should be restored with the future updates of UT 2003. The engine is exceptional and the levels are good, and if you are looking for a good FPS to give as a gift, or to tide you over this holiday season until Doom III is released, this is the best of the lot.
